CHI Saint Joseph Health
Future homeowner Mona Ashby will be working alongside volunteers to help build her home. She says this is the biggest and best blessing she has ever received that "gives me great peace."
Watch our progress! This summer CHI Saint Joseph Health and LEX18 are building a Lexington Habitat for Humanity home on Betty Hope Lane. More than 100 staff members from throughout CHI Saint Joseph Health will participate in the work on the home, including employees from Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown, Saint Joseph Berea, Saint Joseph East, Saint Joseph Hospital and Saint Joseph London. Volunteers represent all areas throughout the organization, including teams from the CHI Saint Joseph Health Foundations, human resources, nurses, respiratory therapists, exercise physiologists and marketing.
It will be home for Mona Ashby, who is raising her 7-year-old grandson.
The house is expected to be completed in early September. A special thank you to everyone who is volunteering their time.
